Did you know that the majority of household cleaners are extremely toxic? How do you find out which products are toxic and how do you find quality replacements? #naturalcleaning #nontoxic

I think that one of the most horrifying steps on the journey of natural living, is the realization of how horrifically toxic popular cleaning products are. For decades, America has had toxic cleaners shoved down its throat and they are now the norm. Although these cleaners do get rid of germs, dirt and grime, they are also linked to cancer, asthma, reproductive and developmental toxicity, allergies, etc. These facts are now becoming common knowledge and people are starting to seek natural alternatives.

The issue now is that "natural" cleaners aren't necessarily non-toxic. SO the question then becomes, how do you find quality non-toxic cleaners that actually work? Luckily, EWG's Guide to Healthy Cleaning exists. You can view their list of recommended cleaners and can also search the ratings of 2,500 products.

My personal favorite product line is Biokleen. All of there products are free of phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, petroleum solvents, alcohol, butyl, glycol ether, brighteners, artificial colors, artificial fragrance AND THEY ACTUALLY WORK.

Once you clean out the toxic chemicals, not only will you be mitigating health risks...but you will be amazed by how much better you feel overall. Three cheers for non-toxic cleaners!
